The CN-TVAV is a control module designed for use as part of a Crestron® control system to provide control of a television, video monitor, or other AV device. IR and RS-232 control ports are included for controlling the device, and built-in current sensing provides for detection of the device’s on and off power states. Four Versiport I/O ports enable the integration of external power sensors, motion detectors, door switches, alarms, or anything else that provides a dry contact closure, low-voltage logic, or 0-10 Volt DC signal. The CN-TVAV communicates with the control system via Cresnet.
Its built-in IR receiver provides compatibility with the WPR-48 handheld remote (sold separately), allowing for a complete, fully-customizable TV control solution.
The CN-TVAV is housed in a compact metal enclosure that can be placed on a shelf, attached under a table, or mounted in a 19” equipment rack. Its 1RU half-width form factor allows it to fit in a single rack-space alongside a second CN-TVAV or other 1RU half-width Crestron device. An array of indicators is provided on the front panel for easy setup and troubleshooting.
