Zhiyun-Tech SMOOTH-X Smartphone Gimbal

The Zhiyun SMOOTH X is a smartphone gimbal specifically designed with lightweight and portability in mind. With its folding design, it becomes the perfect pocked sized gimbal for easy carrying. But there’s more to it than its 10″ size. The telescoping bar extends another 10″ which gives the smooth x a total length of 20″. This means the device also turns in to a selfie stick.

You can attach various phones all the way up to 3.5″ wide thanks to the adjustable mount. The phone positions both horizontally and vertically for portrait and landscape shots. To change the orientation all you need to do is press a single button. While the device is compact it can still squeeze up to 5.5 hours of battery life considering you keep some applications on standby. The device comes with its own app, available both on Android and iOS to highly expand the functionality you get. Through the app you get extra shots like slow motion, panoramas, time lapse, plus other creative features.
