SmallRig Magic Arm with 15mm Rod Mount

The SmallRig Magic Arm with 15mm Rod Mount is a 5.5″ articulating arm consisting of a ball head clamp and interchangeable add-ons on the two ends. It’s designed to attach a monitor or other accessory to your camera rig. One end features a ball head with a 1/4″-20 thumbscrew. This is the end that secures to your cage or other camera support. It’s padded to prevent scratching. The other end has a ball head with short 15mm rod plus a rod-mount mounting platform for your accessories. The quick release mounting platform has a 1/4″-20 screw that secures from underneath, and it’s rubber-padded to prevent scratches. A lever in the center of the main clamp lets you loosen, adjust, and tighten all the components.

The short rod mount is female-threaded and can be extended with additional M12-threaded rods, sold separately. To help incorporate additional rods, you may want to use optional SmallRig 15mm Rod Connectors, which are male-threaded on both ends.

The rod-mount mounting platform has a stopper on it so that the 15mm rod doesn’t go through it and scratch your monitor/accessory. The slot for the 1/4″-20 screw of the mounting platform is large enough for the screw to be adjusted sideways a bit to conform to different monitors.
