The TPS-RFGWX gateway is an RF transceiver that allows Crestron 2.4 GHz 2-way wireless touchpanels to communicate with the control system via the Cresnet network. Crestron’s “Wi-Fi friendly” spread spectrum technology permits selection from 10 possible bands within the 2.4 GHz spectrum to minimize the possibility of interference with non-Crestron RF equipment including all 802.11 devices. The TPS-RFGWX affords a range of approximately 150 feet indoors and up to 1000 feet outdoors.
