Recommended as a minimum treatment for home theaters with limited wall space, the 24-pack of Studiofoam Wedgies from Auralex are one-foot square, 2″-thick Studiofoam acoustic tiles that offer a solution for spot-treating sound studios, home listening rooms, iso booths, and more.
The tiles provide slightly more wedges per square foot than 2″ Studiofoam Wedges and feature a surface area maximized for greater exposure to sound waves. This provides an effective solution for flutter-echo problems, and when spread apart, the tiles yield added sound diffusion off of their exposed edges.
