Canopus ADVC-1000 ADVANCED DIGITAL VIDEO CONVERTER

The ADVC-1000 is a signal conversion device able to convert SDI signals to DV and vice versa. Specific features allow for studio reference timing, device control and non-linear editing compatibility.

Multi-System

This device is compatible with NTSC and PAL television systems.

VTR Control

DV Firewire (IEEE-1394) control can be convertered to RS-422 for control of professional equipment such as Digital Betacam Studio VTRs.

OS Compatibility

This conversion device has the ability to work with computer editing systems operating with either Mac or Windows platforms and software.

Embedded Audio

The ADVC1000 has the ability to work with SDI signals with embedded audio; it can convert up to four channels of embedded audio.

Monitoring

An analog output section for monitoring purposes features composite and Y/C video and stereo audio outputs.
