Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Sony E Mount Lens

The Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN is one of their Contemporary lens series. Made for the cropped sensor APS-C format E-mount cameras. With the wide-angle focal length and an extremely fast aperture of f/1.4, the lens is a brilliant choice for low light conditions and scenery. On the APS-C cameras, the lens provides a 24mm equivalent focal length.  It also gives you more focus control and depth of field control. As a contemporary lens, the lens is designed for a smooth balance between quality and convenience.

The internal design has many dispersion and aspherical elements that remove chromatic aberration and color fringing. A Super Multi-Layer Coating on the lens reduces any lens flare from bright light conditions. There is a stepping AF motor built into the lens for quick, accurate, and silent autofocus. To ensure safety in outdoor usage the lens has a rubber sealing that makes it dust and splash resistant.
